XIV South American Symposium on Isotope Geology (SSAGI 2026)
The XIV South American Symposium on Isotope Geology (SSAGI 2026) successfully brought together almost 200 participants from the Americas, Europe, and across the globe in Montevideo, Uruguay. Organized by the Sociedad Uruguaya de Geología (SUG) with the essential institutional support of the Universidad de la República (Udelar)—specifically the Facultad de Ciencias and CURE Treinta y Tres—this edition reaffirmed the vital importance of face-to-face scientific exchange for the international isotope research community.
Over the course of a highly productive week featuring parallel sessions and rigorous debates within the poster sessions, researchers, professionals, and the next generation of students shared the latest advances on isotopic studies.
An event of this magnitude was made possible through collective effort.
